Background
Gu Le, one of the Eight Talents of Hedong, inherited this mystic skill from his friend Pei Zhan. Legend has it that the technique originated in the Tang Dynasty, created by a former palace lady who combined Indian yoga with traditional Chinese martial arts and was once practiced by imperial shadow guards. It was lost after the fall of the Tang Dynasty until Gu Le met Pei Zhan eight years ago.
