How to use the Where Winds Meet interactive map

Load the map, choose Hide All, and then enable only the categories you need. This keeps dense areas readable when you are searching for one type of collectible, boss, NPC, or teleport point. You can zoom and pan without leaving this page, or open MapGenie in a separate tab for a larger view.

MapGenie is a third-party map rather than the official game map. Its labels, marker coverage, account features, advertisements, and availability are controlled by the provider and can change independently of this guide.

Oddities, chests, bosses, and regional coverage

Use category filters to build a route through Qinghe, Kaifeng, Hexi, and any other regions currently available from the provider. Coverage may lag behind a new game update, so verify an important boss, quest trigger, or time-limited location in the live client before relying on a marker.

The embedded map is most useful as a location index. Detailed access conditions, quest blockers, and translated names will remain in our guides because a marker alone cannot explain every prerequisite.

Can the map sync your game progress?

The embedded MapGenie map does not read or automatically synchronize your Where Winds Meet character progress. Any completed-marker tracking offered by MapGenie is separate from the game and must be managed through the provider. Open the official map in a new tab when you need official account-linked features.

Why the third-party map loads only after a click

Waiting for your click keeps MapGenie scripts, cookies, and advertisements out of the initial page load. It also preserves a fast server-rendered page for visitors who only need the direct links or usage notes. If the iframe is blocked by a regional rule or provider outage, use the separate MapGenie or official-map link below it.

We are also preparing a bilingual map from versioned, verified location data. Until that local tool is ready, the embed provides a useful working map without copying another site's marker database or removing the original provider's attribution.
