Focus your mind to read the enemy's weakness. Just before their attack lands, consume Insight to trigger Deflection, neutralizing their attack. Starts with 2 Insight Points. *Deflection Assist is disabled in Trial, Breakthrough, and Taiping Mausoleum.
How to get
Star Shift does not require a separate world unlock; it is the Assist Deflection feature. On Story or Recommended difficulty, open Settings → Game Settings → Basic Settings and enable Assist Deflection. The option is unavailable on Expert and Legend.
Background
Shi Jiuge, leader of the Raging Tides Sect, invented this technique to avoid fighting his hot-tempered wife Zhu Xianyu. To prevent actual combat, he'd subtly deflect her attacks—letting her vent frustration without harm. He jokingly named it "Easy Beating" before teaching it to the Sichuan hero named Ba, who rebranded it "Grand Evasion" and made it accessible to the wider jianghu.
