Single Target
Build overview
Everspring Umbrella creates safe mid-range pressure and Phantom Umbrella procs, while Unfettered Rope Dart converts the opening into close-range Soulbreak burst and AoE.
- Best for
- PvE, AoE packs, mobile bosses, and players who like switching between range bands
- Main tradeoff
- Burst windows are timing-sensitive: poor spacing or an interrupted Rope Dart commitment costs much more than simple sustained pressure.
- Difficulty
- Medium
- Ping tolerance

Inner Ways

Morale Chant
Attacking or healing has a chance to grant one stack of effect that increases your damage and healing dealt, stacking up to 5 times. Can only be triggered once every 2 seconds.

Phantom Rally
The first returning umbrella thrown by <Scarlet Spin|781||20603|20603202> summons a Phantom Umbrella, and every 3rd throw afterward will summon another. Perfect Catches and phantom umbrella summons trigger a resonance with all existing phantom umbrellas, dealing area damage.

Towline Sweep
Gains 50 Tokens of Gratitude after casting <Soul Sweep|781||20702|20702001>. Each hit of <Piercing Dart|781||20702|20702101>'s sweeping combo inflicts 1 stack of Soul Loss (additional 1 stack when in Soulbound state), and the first sweeping hit pulls enemies in.

Song of Tang
When dealing damage with Martial Art skills, gain Tang Melody for 4s (max 5 stacks, limited to 1 stack per second). Each stack grants Martial Art Skill bonus: when above 50% HP, +2% Critical Damage; when below 50% HP, +2% HP Drain (capped at 2.5% of your Max HP per second).
Alternative: For PvP, Vital Leech is a practical swap for Song of Tang when charged-skill healing is unreliable.
Mystic Skills
Flute of the TidesOffensive
Play the flute. When the melody ends, deal AoE damage. The flute then follows you, releasing sound ripples that strike nearby targets.
Soaring SpinOffensive
Channel your Qi into a roaring thrust, then suddenly shift stance into a spiraling follow-up strike that catches enemies off-guard. Deal damage and inflict Healing Reduction.
Serene BreezeOffensive
Can be used while under hit stagger, control, or silence effects. On hit, deal damage and reduce the target's Endurance recovery by 50% for 8s.
Meridian TouchOffensive
Out of combat: Select acupoints for a chance at special effects. In combat: Has a chance to Immobilize enemies and break the target's Vital Spot. Immobilize ineffective against powerful enemies.
Gear
- Weapon set
- Starweave
- Build around the current Bamboocut damage package and keep the set bonus while improving substats.
- Defensive choice
- Jadeclasp
- Preserve survivability without giving up the Stars Align damage core.

- 4.Critical Rate

Rotation
- 1Start on Unfettered Rope Dart with Dart Song Fills the Wild held briefly to enter Charging Stance and gain Tenacity.
- 2Use Everspring Umbrella to create ranged pressure, Phantom Umbrellas, and a safe approach window.
- 3Use Perfect Catch and the Umbrella interaction to trigger the prepared resonance damage.
- 4Swap into Rope Dart when the target is committed or controlled, apply Soulbreak, and spend the close-range burst.
- 5Exit the unsafe melee window and restart from mid-range instead of forcing a broken rotation.
Practical notes
- Spacing is part of the damage rotation: the build loses value when both weapons are played from the same range.
- In PvP, keep an escape Mystic Art available before committing to the Rope Dart burst.
Current status
The pair remains the natural Bamboocut — Dust route; current guidance emphasizes Phantom Rally, Towline Sweep, Song of Tang and clean two-range execution.
